My MRI shows a complete tear of the supraspinatus tendon at its insertion with 0.8cm retraction. I'm a 45-year-old woman can this heal with physiotherapy or is surgery the only option? I'm worried about recovery and what's best for my shoulder.
Only tear is not important. Even restriction of movts is imp. Y poo it tear has been there since how long and other things. Many pts even with complete tear don't need surgery. They do well with physio
