My mom has a hole in her eardrum and it's causing a lot of issues. The ENT doctor recommended surgery but I'm wondering if there's any way to heal a ruptured eardrum without going through surgery

Yes, many ruptured eardrums heal on their own without surgery. If the hole is small, it may heal within a few weeks. Even if it doesn't heal on its own, there are other options like patching or ear drop therapy before considering surgery.

View allMy nose has been crooked since birth it tilts to the left and doesn't look great, though it doesn't cause any breathing issues. I'd like to fix it but want to avoid surgery if possible. Are there any non-surgical treatments that could help straighten it?
septoplasty is advised.

I have a DNS issue with an overgrown septum and outer bone. My doctor recommended septoplasty first and then plastic surgery on the outer nose later, but I've heard about septorhinoplasty where both are done together. Is that really an option? Would it be better to combine them or do them separately?
Your doctor's recommendation to address the deviated nasal septum (DNS) with septoplasty first, followed by rhinoplasty (plastic surgery of the outer nose), is a common approach.

I've been feeling really uncomfortable in my throat for the past couple of days. It's like some food got stuck, and I've been coughing a lot, but it hasn't helped. Could you please provide some advice on what I should do?
