My mother-in-law was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer but she doesn't have serious symptoms right now and seems healthy. How much time does she likely have left and what treatments should we consider? Some doctors say surgery isn't useful at this stage but chemotherapy might help what's your opinion on this?

View allI've been diagnosed with calcification in my breasts and was told I might need surgery. I'm really nervous about it and wondering if there are other treatment options I could explore before going under the knife. Is surgery the only way, or are there alternatives I should consider?
Most causes of breast calcification are benign (not cancerous) and don't require treatment. The radiologist who reviews your X-rays for future mammograms can compare new images to previous ones and see if the calcifications have changed.
