My penis has always curved to the left and I recently got a penile Doppler test that showed small plaques. The doctor said surgery is the only option but only if sex is uncomfortable. I want to straighten it but I'm worried about surgery risks. Are there any other treatments like penile traction devices that could work?

View allMy wife has a 12 mm stone in her left kidney and feels mild pain daily. Can this be treated with medicine or does she need surgery?
Kidney stones may not always cause pain and discomfort and may remain asymptomatic unless they grow too big or get stuck in the ureter or urethra. A 12 mm kidney stone is large and can cause much pain and difficulties and requires surgery for removal.

I've been using mintop minoxidil topical solution 5 for the last year and a half. In the past six months, I've noticed my libido has been dropping, and now it's completely gone. I have no erections and my semen seems watery. I stopped using minoxidil a month ago, hoping things would get better, but there's still no change. Everyone keeps saying minoxidil is safe, but it feels like it's turned my life upside down. I don't care about my hair anymore; I just want my libido back. Will I ever regain it?
Minoxidil is generally safe, but your symptoms might suggest other underlying issues, such as hormonal imbalance or psychological factors. Please consult a doctor or endocrinologist for a thorough evaluation and treatment plan. With proper care, your libido and overall health can often be restored.

I've been diagnosed with bilateral varicocele grade 1 on the right side and grade 2 on the left. Lately, I've noticed my testicles shrinking, along with weaker erections and lower sex drive. I've tried ayurvedic and homeopathic treatments, but I'm not sure if they're helping. What's the best way to treat this? Also, could surgery lead to fertility problems down the line?
For a bilateral varicocele with associated testicular shrinkage, weaker erections, and lower sex drive, the best course of action is to consult a urologist or reproductive endocrinologist for a proper evaluation and treatment plan. While surgery is the most common and effective treatment, other options like embolization or lifestyle changes might be considered. Surgery, while generally safe, may have a small risk of impacting fertility, but this is often manageable
