I've been dealing with strep throat for the past two years, and it keeps coming back almost every month. I'm really struggling with this whole not smoking thing after my tonsil removal. I've been smoking about 15 cigarettes a day, and now the past couple of days without them are just killing me. The NRT options aren't helping much either. My doctor mentioned something about my bleeding risk going from 2 to 3 if I smoke, but that doesn't entirely make sense to me. I'm trying to find out what the absolute minimum time is before I can start smoking again. Honestly, quitting for good isn't an option for me, and going two weeks without smoking seems nearly impossible. Any advice?
