My PTH test report shows 22 pg per ml. Is this normal? I have high blood pressure and take 5 mg Amlokind. I also have spondylosis with C2, C3 bulge and C5, C6 degeneration. Additionally, I have a gallstone of 2.9 cm and antral gastritis for the last six months. I am feeling weak now. Kindly advise if my PTH level is normal?

A PTH level of 22 pg per ml is within normal range. Weakness could be due to other causes. Monitor calcium, Vitamin D, and continue care for other conditions.

Dr. Yusuf Suggests...

Take a Calcium Test Test or Take a Vitamin D Test Test

I am attaching the screenshots of my blood and liver report for your reference. Please review them and suggest the appropriate medication and dietary changes.

For a few days, my mom has been suffering from leg pain. Earlier, it was in one leg, but now it happens in both legs. One day, she was sitting in one position for a long time, and when she moved, it caused a lot of pain. Now, if she sits anywhere for a long time and then gets up, she faces the same problem. She was earlier diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency and took medication for a few months but stopped as she continued to feel well. She is slightly overweight. She also had menstrual related issues in the past, such as overbleeding and abdominal pain. I do not know the exact reason behind her leg pain, but she complains that she is unable to walk when it happens. Please help and suggest treatment options. She lives alone and is working, as my father has passed away. I am also working but staying far from her. This issue arose recently. If you need any further information, please reach out to me. What could be the reason for her leg pain?

My recent blood test shows a Vitamin D level of 12.08 ng/mL, while my serum calcium level is normal at 10 mg/dL. Should I take only a Vitamin D supplement, or a combination of Vitamin D with calcium? Please advise. I have attached my report for reference.
