In my recent blood test, my Vitamin D25 level is 22 ng/mL and Vitamin B12 is 163 pg/mL. Could you please suggest appropriate supplements or medications to correct these deficiencies?

Both are low. You need Vitamin D3 supplements and Vitamin B12 injections or tablets. Also increase sun exposure and intake of fortified foods.
Dr. Siri Suggests...
Take a 25-HYDROXY VITAMIN D (D2+D3) Test or Take a VITAMIN B12 Test

View allHello doctor, I had ankle swelling and pain, as well as finger pain. I consulted an orthopedic doctor, who tested me and found high uric acid, low ESR, low vitamin B12, and low hemoglobin. The doctor prescribed some medicines. I would like a second opinion. Are these tablets safe, and do they contain steroids? I have attached my report and medicine prescription.

My father has been a chain smoker for many years. Recently, I have noticed that he has become very lethargic, has lost interest in daily activities, and is also showing signs of forgetfulness. Although he has reduced his smoking, he has not quit completely. I am concerned whether these symptoms could be a result of long-term smoking. Kindly advise.

Hi, For the past two days, I have been noticing yellow mucus when I spit for the first time in the morning. Last month, I had a complete blood test done, and the only abnormality was slightly elevated lymphocytes. I have Gilbert syndrome and vitamin B12 deficiency, while my vitamin D levels are normal. I have also been experiencing pain in both knees for the past 15 days. I got an Xray done, but the doctor said everything looks normal. I am currently taking Shelcal HD and A to Z daily. Could this indicate any inflammation or infection in my body? Is yellow mucus in the first spit normal?
