My son was born with extra fingers on both hands and one leg. He's now 18 months old and I recently saw a pediatric surgeon about it. Wanted to ask what's the best age to remove the extra fingers? The doctor recommended full-body anesthesia is that necessary or can they just numb the area? Also, roughly how much does this surgery cost and how long is the recovery? Any recommendations for a good doctor in MP?

Bump may be granulation or fat—keep clean, sitz baths, and recheck with surgeon if healing doesn’t progress.
