My Widal test report shows the following: Salmonella typhi O: 1:80 Salmonella typhi H: 1:80 Salmonella paratyphi AH: 1:20 Salmonella paratyphi BH: 1:20 Impression: Positive Please advise what this result indicates and the next steps for treatment.

Titres of 1:80 may indicate past infection or early typhoid. Clinical correlation needed.

My daughter, a 7 year 5 month old girl, has been suffering from high fever for the past week. Yesterday, we did blood tests. Widal Test Report: S. Typhi O: 1:320 (Positive) S. Para Typhi BH: 1:320 (Negative) Other Tests: Malaria Antigen (Rapid, whole blood): Negative Dengue IgG: Negative Dengue IgM: Negative Dengue NS1 Antigen: Negative Is this typhoid infection severe, moderate, or mild? What treatment should we follow? Does she need hospitalization? Are there any common medicines to take and any recommended changes in food and water habits?

My father has been experiencing fever for the last 3 days. His Widal test report shows S. Paratyphi O antigen at 1:80 and S. Paratyphi H antigen at 1:80. I would like to know if these results are normal or if they clearly indicate typhoid. Please clarify if we need to be concerned.
