Respected Sir, I am a 36 year old lady. I was pregnant last year and delivered by caesarean and got a baby girl as I lost my 6 year old boy earlier. I have another girl of 11 years old. Now after 5 months my period has not started. I tested and my TSH level is 14 while T3 and T4 are normal. During my pregnancy I took 50 mg tablet thyroxine. I am attaching my report. Please suggest me how much mg I should take now? I want to be pregnant again so please suggest me as I am in urgent need. My TSH is 14.03, T3 is 1.03, and T4 is 7.81?

You have subclinical hypothyroidism. You may need to restart thyroxine, possibly 50 to 75 mcg daily. Regular monitoring of TSH every 6 to 8 weeks is advised if planning pregnancy.

View allI am 41 years old and have been suffering from serious mental illness for the last 10 years. The medicines I take are lithium bicarbonate, amisulpride, Phendy Plus and the sleeping tablet zolpidem. I searched on the internet about these medicines and found that they are used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and parkinsonism. I want to know about ayurvedic medicine as I have not got any results from allopathic medicines.

I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in the early stage (borderline), and my doctor prescribed Thyronorm 25 mg. I took the medicine only for one month and then stopped. Now I am planning for my second pregnancy. Will hyperthyroidism affect my pregnancy? Is it necessary to continue thyroid medication, or can I manage without it?
