Which graft is better for ACL surgery hamstring or patellar tendon? I've heard the hamstring graft has fewer issues with knee pain later on, but I'm not sure if it's as strong. What are the pros and cons of each option?

Post surgery the wires needs to removed between 10-14 days after surgery If sutures are absorbable they get dissolve over time ,whereas the non -absorbable needs to be manually removed by a healthcare professional.

My 7.5-year-old son had femur surgery with a titanium wire implant and has fully recovered. I'm really nervous about anesthesia since he's had it three times in the last six months. Is it okay to leave the implant as it is or does it need to be removed?
