Those with health insurance coverage must provide all related policy details at the time of admission. Additionally, if patients are assigned a Unique Identification Number (UID), they must inform the staff of the same to centralise their medical records.

The discharge procedure at the Apollo Hospital in Kochi begins with the assigned In-Patient Coordinator managing and evaluating all the necessary patient details. Following that, the doctor and the nursing staff provide the patient with a detailed post-hospitalisation and recovery plan.
The management team then presents the final invoice to the patient or their caretaker. 

Note: Outgoing patients should return unused medication before proceeding with their discharge summary.
