Iron deficiency anemia occurs when your body does not have enough iron to produce hemoglobin.
The features which can indicate anemia are unexplained weakness, brittle nails, chest pain (without any reason), fatigue and breathlessness. If you are having most of the symptoms consider taking a test and consulting a general practitioner.
If you have boderline iron deficiency then you can get rid of it by consuming a diet rich in iron, green leafy vegetables and fortified cereals.
