Doctor, in my double marker test report, my beta hCG level is 11 ng/mL. I showed the report to my personal doctor, and he said everything is normal, explaining that there is a difference between beta hCG and total hCG levels. However, I am still worried about my beta hCG count. Could you please clarify if this level is normal and if I should be concerned?

Double marker uses free beta hCG (not total). Value interpretation depends on gestational age and NT scan. If doctor says normal, no action needed.

View allHi. My wife is 12 weeks pregnant and everything is normal in her blood report including thyroid, sugar and hemoglobin. The doctor has asked her to go for an NT scan along with Double Marker, which is optional. They said Double Marker will cost 4000 Rs. I need your suggestions. Is Double Marker really required if everything is normal in her blood report?

I recently did my routine first trimester antenatal blood tests, and my report shows a high risk result for trisomy 21 (1:7) and trisomy 13/18 (1:11). I am 27 years old. I am very worried after seeing this report. Could you please guide me on what steps I should take next to confirm or reduce this risk?
