In general checkup my fasting blood sample report shows total RBC 6.61, MCHC 29.1 g per dl, RDW SD 49 fl, RDW CV 14.9 percent, platelet 150000, PCT 0.17 percent, BUN by SR. creatinine ratio 28.64, calcium 8.3 mg per dl, hs CRP 12.26 mg per L, vitamin D 21.93 ng per ml, vitamin B12 362 pg per ml, SGOT 71.7 u per l, protein 8.73 gm per dl, serum globulin 4.6 gm per dl, serum creatinine 0.66 mg per dl, triglycerides 161 mg per dl. Mainly I am concerned about hs CRP, SGOT, and platelet. Why are they abnormal and is it any danger? Please give me your advice.

Raised SGOT and CRP may suggest liver inflammation or general inflammation. Platelets are low normal. Nothing urgent but do the required follow up liver and inflammation markers.

Take a LFT (Liver Function) Test Test or Take a CRP Test (C - Reactive Protein) Test

View allHello, I just had my routine annual blood work completed. My bilirubin was 1.1. Although the lab report states it is in the normal range, being 0.1 above normal concerns me. I have hypertension and take the generic form of Norvasc 5 mg and a low dose aspirin. I am very active, 38 years old, and work out 5 to 6 days a week with lifting, running, or biking. I have a healthy diet and partake in some social adult beverages. Should I have any concerns? All other numbers came out in the middle ranges.

I received my blood test report. My cholesterol was high at 211, LDL was 153, HDL was 36, vitamin D was less than 10.5 (normal 75 to 110), and B12 was 320. I was given 60k vitamin D capsules weekly. After the third week, I started experiencing dizziness and discomfort on the right side of my abdomen. My liver and kidney panel were normal, but ALT was 71 (normal 30 to 65). My bowel movements are fine, but I have bloating most of the time, and my abdomen feels tight like a tyre, which is very uncomfortable. I am worried, but my physician said my liver and kidneys are fine and it may be just gas. He asked me to continue the vitamin D tablets and take an antacid in the morning. What should I do? Can I take magnesium supplements too, as I read that vitamin D requires magnesium? My right knee hurts a lot while coming down the stairs, and I also have muscle cramps. My major issue is lower abdomen bloating and dull pain below the lower ribs on the right side.

My friend had LFT and KFT tests. His AST is 233, ALT is 171, and GGT is 280. Is he suffering from liver cancer?
