Hi Doctor, I am attaching my liver function test report for your review. Could you please guide me on whether these results indicate any risk of liver problems in the future? I do not drink or smoke, and I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle, so I am concerned about why my liver function readings are elevated. Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Mild ALT or SGPT rise can be due to fatty liver, high protein intake, meds, or silent hepatitis. A liver ultrasound and hepatitis panel are advisable to rule out early liver disease.

View allI took Fluvoximine CR 100, Venlafaxine, Clofranil 25 all thrice a day and Ativan once a day for one month. I abruptly stopped due to numerous severe side effects. The next day, my blood report showed HBsAg positive. Could this be a result of these side effects and poor immune system caused by the medicines?

Hello, I am a hepatitis B carrier. My LFT reports are normal, but my HBV DNA quantitative PCR test shows viral DNA at 853 IU/ml. Should this be a concern? I do not consume alcohol or cigarettes. My doctor has advised not to take any medication as long as my LFT reports remain normal. Please guide me on how to proceed. Sir, what is this viral load? I am worried about my health. Is hepatitis B curable? My report shows HBsAg provisionally reactive, and the lab has suggested a confirmatory HBsAg test.
