Question
Hi doctor, I have been experiencing knee joint pain for the past six months. I feel pain mainly while running and climbing stairs. Initially, the pain was more severe, but it has now reduced, although there is still some discomfort. I consulted an orthopaedic specialist earlier and had an X ray done, which came back normal. He prescribed some pain relief medication, which helped reduce the pain. The issue started after I followed a strict healthy diet for two months. My recent blood report is also normal. Please suggest what I should do next.

Knee pain could be from low vitamin D or soft tissue strain. Xray being normal is a good sign. Since you have mentioned that the pain started after you started a healthy diet, one reason could be deficiency of essential nutrients, assessment of vitamin B12, folic acid and vitamin D might give a clear idea about the cause
Dr. Vasanthasree Suggests...
Take a Vitamin D Test Test or Take a VITAMIN B12 AND FOLATE Test
