These titres indicate recent typhoid infection. Antibiotics (e.g. cefixime) may be prescribed. Take fluids, rest, avoid spicy food. Repeat Widal after treatment if needed.

I am suffering from fever for the last few days. I got my Widal test report which shows TO 1:160, TH 1:160, and AH and BH are negative.

I have attached my Widal test report. The test was done on the sixth day of the fever, which was around 103 degrees F. Please tell me whether it is typhoid or not, as I have received two different opinions from two doctors. I am very confused.

I have been recovering from typhoid for the past two weeks and am feeling much better now. However, my recent blood test shows the following Widal test result Patient sera found reactive to Salmonella antigens O and H in the following dilutions.
