HLA B27 positive means a genetic tendency for joint issues like ankylosing spondylitis. Many people have no major problems regular exercise helps control symptoms. Knee or foot pain after stopping activity is common. Restart gentle stretches, walking, or yoga. If pain worsens, get joint tests and visit a doctor.

Take a CRP Test (C - Reactive Protein) Test or Take a ESR Test (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) Test

Hello Doctor, I am a 24 year old male experiencing persistent knee pain along with occasional hip discomfort. I initially consulted an orthopedic doctor who advised me to do exercises, but there was no improvement. I then visited a rheumatologist who prescribed SAAZ 1000 mg, Zycel 200 mg, and administered a Solumedrol injection. The pain subsided for a while, but after about a month, it returned. I had stopped all medications by then and went back to an orthopaedic doctor, who prescribed Mexate 7.5 mg once a week. My blood test showed that HLA B27 is positive, but all other parameters were within the normal range. I am now confused about whether this is spondyloarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. Additionally, I have a personal concern, I masturbate daily, and I would like to know if this could have any effect on my joint or knee pain.
