Hi, Is it safe to take vitamin tablets daily? If so, which ones should I take? I have been diagnosed with Vitamin D deficiency, and I am considering taking all vitamin supplements regularly.

Taking vitamin tablets daily is generally safe if you have a deficiency or your doctor recommends it. Since you have Vitamin D deficiency, continue your Vitamin D supplements as prescribed. A balanced diet often covers most vitamin needs, so taking a general multivitamin is optional if your diet is healthy. Avoid high dose vitamins without medical advice, as excess can be harmful. A Vitamin B12 test may be done if you have weakness or tingling, as B12 deficiency is also common. A repeat Vitamin D test can be done post taking treatment.

View allHi, I recently received my ANC profile which shows low MCHC but elevated RDW CV and RDW SD values, while my hemoglobin is 12.7. I maintain a very healthy lifestyle with regular strength training and cardio, and I avoid fried and junk food. Since folic acid is crucial for the baby CNS development, I am quite anxious and want to know how to correct these values. Given my age and my father history of bypass surgery, my doctor has also prescribed daily heparin injections, which I have been taking for the last 4 days. Please advise on what I can do to bring these values back to normal. I have attached my report
