I am 32 and got my thyroid test report which comes out as Free T4 1.28 and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone ultrasensitive 1.136. Are my thyroid levels normal?

Yes, both Free T4 and TSH are within the normal range, suggesting your thyroid is functioning well. No changes in treatment are required if you are not experiencing symptoms. Routine monitoring every 6 to 12 months is recommended.

Dr. Siri Suggests...

Take a TSH Test (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) Test or Take a Free (FT4) Test Test

I took a thyroid test for the first time. My results are: T3: 120 T4: 9.2 TSH: 4.16 The report comments mention suggesting thyronormalcy. Are these values within the normal range? If not, what treatment or steps should I consider? I have attached my report for reference.

I was diagnosed with geographic tongue in July 2019. My Vitamin B12 was low, and I took medicines for that, but the geographic tongue did not go away. I also had burning while urinating, which was diagnosed as chronic prostatitis, and I was given multiple courses of antibiotics. Currently, I am facing skin itching that was diagnosed as chronic urticaria. I do not get hives; the skin just turns red and then becomes normal after some time. I was advised to take Levosiz 5 mg, which relieves the itching for 2 to 3 days, but the problem comes back, so I need to take the medicine repeatedly. Recently, I was advised to get my thyroid profile checked. My T3 and T4 are normal, but TSH is 22.46. My HbA1c is 6.2, ESR is 7, TLC is 5.21, and RBC is 5.30. I started thyroxine 50 mg two weeks ago. My age is 36 and my weight is 93 kg. Could you please suggest what should be done next, and which specialist I should consult?
