This is a deficiency. Start supplements (e.g. D3 60,000 IU weekly for 6 to 8 weeks) after consulting a general physician or endocrinologist. Also get sunlight exposure and eat fortified foods.
Dr. Bhanu Suggests...
Take a 25-HYDROXY VITAMIN D (D2+D3) Test

Could there be another problem? I recently passed a kidney stone. Is it related? Is having sun exposure for 15 minutes every morning enough for vitamin D?
