A single Widal test is not very reliable. A titre of more than 1:160 for S. typhi O/H may indicate recent infection. Consider repeat test or TyphiDot.

My mother has been having fever for the past 33 days. When she takes medication, the fever temporarily goes away, but it returns after some time.
