I recently had my LFT done, and my test report shows higher than normal values for SGOT (AST) and SGPT (ALT). I would like to know the possible causes and how to bring these levels back to normal.

Raised LFT can be due to fatty liver, alcohol, or viral hepatitis. Please take an ultrasound abdomen and Hepatitis B and C panel. Take these to identify root cause.
Dr. Hema Suggests...
Take a HBsAg Test (Hepatitis B surface antigen) Test or Take a HCV Test (Hepatitis C Virus) Test
