I've been dealing with bleeding piles and I'm currently breastfeeding my baby. Is it safe for me to use lactulose solution? Could it have any effects on my baby?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Lactulose solution is generally considered safe during breastfeeding, as it is not absorbed into the bloodstream and therefore unlikely to pass into breastmilk

View allI've noticed that whenever I add milk to my diet, I start to feel some pain in my stomach, and it seems to trigger gas issues. I also get this feeling of acidity and sometimes deal with constipation. I'm wondering if I can use milk powder as an alternative to meet my dairy needs. Is it healthy to make that switch, and are there any possible side effects I should be aware of?
If you are having problems when taking milk or milk products, chances are you will get those problems with milk powder as well. But you can try. Take small quantities initially and if its alright, you can continue. There is no problem.

I've been having this really strange issue whenever I drink water. It kind of feels like it's getting stuck in my esophagus or something, and then I can't breathe for like a minute or two. It's pretty scary and it seems like I might not be able to breathe again. Do you have any idea what might be going on?

I'm feeling pretty nervous lately, and I'm not sure why. About a week ago, I went to a gastro specialist because I was really bloated. I noticed the bloating happens whenever I have dairy products, which is still an issue now. I've attached my blood test results, and they show that my LDL and NON-HDL levels are high. Could you give me some advice on what steps I should take?
From your blood test results showing high LDL and NON HDL levels, along with your symptoms of bloating and nervousness, it is important to address your cholesterol levels and digestive issues. To lower your LDL and NON HDL levels, I recommend starting a medication called Atorvastatin. Additionally, since you are experiencing bloating with dairy products, you can try taking a lactase enzyme supplement like Lactaid before consuming dairy to help with digestion. It is also advisable to follow a low-cholesterol diet and engage in regular physical activity to improve your overall health. Make sure to follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and monitoring of your cholesterol levels.
