My father is 60 years old and he was diagnosed with low grade non muscle invasive bladder cancer 2 years ago. He was treated with mitomycin 40 for 6 weeks and since then there has been no recurrence. Initially he had checkups every 3 months for 1 year, then every 6 months, and now he has been advised to come for follow up once a year. Each time the doctor asked us to bring a serum creatinine test report before cystoscopy. During his last checkup his creatinine was 1.31 mg per dl but there was no recurrence of the tumor. Since then I have put him on a low salt diet and ensured he stays hydrated. Today, we tested his blood again and the results are creatinine 1.16 mg per dl, serum urea 24 mg per dl, potassium 3.9 mEq per l, sodium 133, and hemoglobin 13.6. Should we be worried and what should be our next step?

Kidney function is acceptable. Continue low salt diet and hydration. Creatinine is stable. Please do a Serum Creatinine test before each cystoscopy.

View allI had gallbladder surgery in November. Before the surgery, my creatinine was 1.3. I repeated the KFT test in December, and I have attached the report here. Is my report normal? Should I be concerned, and after how many days should I repeat the test? I have also attached my urine routine report.

The patient has a history of diabetes and hypertension, and her recent tests show creatinine of 5 mg/dL and blood urea of 165 mg/dL, suggesting possible end stage renal disease. While we plan to consult a nephrologist, could you please advise on dietary interventions that may help manage her blood profile and support kidney function?

I am a 16 year old CKD patient. I have been on dialysis for one month, three times a week. I was hospitalized on 2nd October when my creatinine was 13.50. On 5th October, my creatinine reduced to 6.40. Now my creatinine is 10.30 before dialysis. As per the report of 9th October, urine albumin and occult blood are present, pus cells are 6 to 8/hpf, and RBC is 2 to 3/hpf. Urine total protein/creatinine ratio is 3.37. I want a second opinion. Is this curable?
