My husband, age 40 years, has Triglycerides 159, HDL 30, VLDL 32, and LDL 101. How is the report? I am concerned about HDL and VLDL.

Triglycerides (159) and LDL (101) are within acceptable limits. HDL (30) is slightly low, and VLDL (32) is slightly high, which can increase heart risk over time. Encourage daily 30 min walk, weight management, and a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, nuts, and omega 3 (flaxseed, fish). Avoid junk food, sugary drinks, and smoking if applicable. You can book a Lipid Profile test again after 3 months to monitor improvement with lifestyle changes.
