My mother has been experiencing night sweats, occasional fever, and anorexia for a few days. Her urine report shows bacteria presence, and her blood report is attached.

Night sweats, fever, and anorexia with bacteria in urine could indicate a urinary tract infection or even urosepsis in elderly patients. Start antibiotics based on culture report, ensure hydration, and monitor vitals. Normal USG rules out kidney obstruction.

Take a Urine Culture Test Test or Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test

View allI have been experiencing constant urethral pain for the past two months. After consulting a doctor, I underwent a urine flow test, and based on the results, I was prescribed Levoflox and Alfoo for one month, followed by Alfoo alone for another month. Despite completing the medications, the pain has not reduced. Please advise on what can be done to overcome this problem.

My father blood test showed a creatinine level of 9 and potassium level of 7.56, so the doctor advised immediate dialysis. He has undergone two dialysis sessions so far, one the day before yesterday and one today. The ultrasound report shows that both kidneys are normal in size and there are no stones. However, the urine report indicates elevated RBCs and pus cells. Now, the doctor is recommending a kidney biopsy. I would like to understand what the next steps should be and whether the biopsy is necessary at this stage.
