My recent blood report shows my prolactin level is 45, and my doctor said this is causing my irregular periods. Currently, I have been prescribed tablets to regulate my periods for 3 months. Could you please advise what steps I should take to normalize my prolactin levels?

A prolactin level of 45 ng per mL is mildly elevated. If periods are irregular and this persists, it could be due to stress, thyroid dysfunction, or a small pituitary issue. Continue the tablets as advised. If symptoms persist, follow up testing such as a thyroid panel or MRI of the brain (to check pituitary) may be needed.

I recently had a thyroid test, and my results are: TSH: 6 microIU/mL T3: 0.87 ng/mL T4: 5.83 microgram/dL Does this indicate hypothyroidism? Can my TSH, T3, and T4 levels return to normal without taking medication? If so, how many months might it take to achieve this naturally, and what steps should I follow?

My son is 15 years old. His blood report shows TSH greater than 150. He weighs 70 kg and is 5.6 inches tall. He looks normal and active and plays games like kabaddi volleyball and cricket. The doctor prescribed Tyronorm 100 mg. Is that much dose required and can it be cured?
