My sister, age 40, has stomach discomfort, and her test report for Hepatitis B (Austria Agentio report) indicates a viral infection. The doctor has confirmed that it is caused by Hepatitis B virus.

Hepatitis B surface antigen positive means active virus. She needs monitoring of liver enzymes and viral load. It's manageable with care.

View allI took Fluvoximine CR 100, Venlafaxine, Clofranil 25 all thrice a day and Ativan once a day for one month. I abruptly stopped due to numerous severe side effects. The next day, my blood report showed HBsAg positive. Could this be a result of these side effects and poor immune system caused by the medicines?

Hello. I am 23 years old and have been having a cough for the last 3 months. The general physician advised me to do a few blood tests and a chest X ray. My chest X ray report is normal, but a few tests in my blood report are higher than the normal range. My RDW test is 15.3 percent, eosinophils are 11 percent and SGOT is 46 U/L. What does this indicate? Do I need to worry? My brother has Hepatitis B, so since my SGOT is slightly high, does it mean I am infected with Hep B or any other hepatitis? Is there a chance of me having tuberculosis according to these X ray and blood test reports? Please advise the further course of action and which doctor I should visit? I have attached my blood reports.
