My Widal test results are as follows: Method: Tube S. Typhi O: 1:120 S. Typhi H: 1:60 S. Paratyphi AH: Nil S. Paratyphi BH: Nil Does this mean I have typhoid?

A Widal test showing S. typhi O at 1:120 and H at 1:60 is borderline and not confirmatory for typhoid, as values below 1:160 are often non specific and can be due to past infection or vaccination. If you have fever, headache, and weakness, your doctor may consider typhoid clinically. A Typhidot IgM or blood culture is more accurate for confirmation.

Take a Typhidot Test Test or Take a CULTURE AND SENSITIVITY - AEROBIC (BLOOD) Test

View allI have just received my Widal report and I have a query regarding how to interpret it. Can you help me understand whether it indicates typhoid or not?

I had a fever for a few days, and my recent test results indicate typhoid fever at a late stage, but I have not started any treatment yet. My Widal test results are as follows, S.T.O is 1:320, S.T.H is 1:160, S.T.AH is 1:160, S.T.BH is 1:80. Please advise on the next steps for treatment.

My 2 year 10 month old child has been having fever for the last 4 days. We did CBC and urine tests, which were normal, and dengue and malaria tests, which were negative. The fever subsided on the 5th day but returned on the 6th day, with the child head and body feeling very hot and temperatures above 101F. After taking Paracetamol 250 mg, the temperature temporarily reduced, but it rises again after about 6 hours.
