Please read my report. Now I am currently 32 weeks pregnant. Upto the 2nd trimester thyroid reports were normal. I am using Tyronorm 50 mg. T4 is slightly above. Is there any problem? Please suggest.

Slightly elevated T4 can occur during pregnancy. Since you are on medication, your doctor may adjust the dose. Regular monitoring helps ensure no harm to you or the baby.

View allI am a 29 year old female and recently received my blood report showing a TSH level of 6.7. I consulted a doctor who prescribed Thyronorm 50 mcg. When I asked about the duration of treatment, he mentioned it could be for 1 year, 2 years, or possibly lifelong. I have been under significant stress for the past two months due to some family issues. Is it possible that stress caused my TSH to rise? Should I start the medication now, or would it be better to retest after a month to see if the TSH levels change? My cholesterol, blood pressure, and other tests are normal.

Hi, I recently had my thyroid stimulating hormone tested using ECLIA. The adult reference range is 0.3 to 5.5, and my TSH level is 5.69. I am 24 years old and underweight. Could you please help me understand the results of this thyroid test and if any treatment or further action is needed?
