Which of these is high in cholesterol? How much should be eaten daily? Cottage cheese (paneer), potato (alu), cauliflower (gobi), mushroom?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Among these, Cottage Cheese (Paneer) has the highest cholesterol and saturated fat. Potato, cauliflower, and mushroom have zero cholesterol they are plant based. Paneer (low fat) can be eaten in moderation: about 50 to 75 gm/day if cholesterol is normal. Avoid frying steam, grill, or stir fry with minimal oil.
