My mom has been under the care of Dr Akash Shah for her cancer treatment and his expertise has made all the difference in her journey Despite facing challenging circumstances including persistently low blood counts that remained inexplicable even after advanced testing he managed to administer chemotherapy effectively The nature of chemotherapy in such conditions is particularly daunting as many oncologists would hesitate to continue treatment under similar circumstances However Dr Shahs unwavering commitment and skill enabled my mom to emerge victorious from her battle with cancer and its been two years since her treatment completion with no significant issuesshe is thriving Recently we encountered another hurdle when my mom began to experience knee pain prompting us to get an MRI The results revealed meniscus damage necessitating surgical intervention Seeking Dr Akashs guidance once again he referred us to Dr Nalin Patel at Apollo Hospital for the surgery However upon evaluation Dr Nalin identified that her platelet count was low which meant that he could only proceed with surgery after receiving clearance from a hematologist Despite her admission to the hospital her platelet count remained critically low The hematologist advised that while an emergency surgery could warrant a platelet transfusion in this case since it wasnt urgent it would be safer to postpone the procedure due to the high risk of complications like internal bleeding Consequently Dr Nalin made the conscientious decision to cancel the surgery This led to another challenge as the insurance company rejected the cashless claim because the surgery was not performed Typically this would mean I would have to handle the bill but I am grateful to Apollo Management for their understanding and compassionthey kindly waived the entire amount leaving us with no financial burden Throughout this complex process Dr Akash has been an invaluable source of support facilitating coordination between Dr Nalin the hematologist and Apollos management His dedication goes beyond what one would expect he is always accessible and willing to lend an ear regardless of the hour His calm demeanor and patient-centric approach have instilled confidence in us during these trying times We are truly fortunate to have Dr Akash Shah as my moms physician Words cannot express our gratitude for his unwavering support he exemplifies the truth behind the saying that doctors are the personification of God on Earth

Dr Akash Shah is an excellent Doctor He treated me for breast cancer The best thing about him is that he is very calm and spends enough time understanding the issues and going through the reports He studies them carefully and then plans the course of treatment He is never in a hurry and is relaxed which actually makes the patient too easy and relaxed He made us feel very comfortable during the entire course of treatment We are thankful to him and his team for their services and completing the treatment successfully Thank you Dr Akash for the excellent care you have provided us during the treatment
