Acute Spinal Cord Injury
It was my first time visiting Doctor after a family friend recommended. It just took me one visit to him, to remove all my reservations regarding my procedure purely because of his behaviour, honesty and ofcourse his experience! He is a great doctor without any hint of arrogance of so. Hence, it's very comfortable to discuss any apprehensions with him. He is full of positivity and reassurance which I realized, post this surgery, helps a patient recover faster. Highly recommend him! Without any inhibitions!

Spinal surgery
I live in Bangalore and was skeptical to come to Kolkata and get such an intense procedure done. Which is when I was recommended Dr. Amitabha Ghosh by a family friend, and I took a chance. I am so glad I took that chance because he is the finest we have had so far in Kolkata. A gem of a person, a caring doctor, and a magical surgeon. I have simple funda when it comes to people, if they can make you laugh and respect you at the same time, they are the best. When you have a doctor who is a combination of that, along with being the best doctor in the city or country, he is equal to God, who gives you life. Dr. Amitabha is just that. He is hilarious, makes sure you are in a great mood, and moreover, takes care of you like your own. He guided me extremely well before my surgery, so much so that I was smiling before entering the OT. My family thought I had lost my mind. Hahaha. But it was actually the confidence I had in him. Post-surgery, he was there on a Sunday to help me walk. He consistently called me after surgery to check on me, just like a guardian would. Every time I visit him, I feel like I have visited a family member who deeply cares about me. Needless to say, the surgery he performed was splendid. My pain went away in less than a week. I knew I could call him at any time regarding any doubts I had. Thank you so much, Dr. Amitabha. I hope I don't have to get another surgery done but god forbid, if it does happen, it'll always be by you.
