Prof. Anupam Sibal is a distinguished and extensively experienced pediatrician based in South Delhi, boasting over 25 years of practice. Currently serving as the Group Medical Director of the Apollo Hospitals Group in India, he held the prestigious position of President of the Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) from 2020 to 2022. GAPIO, an organization aimed at uniting 1.4 million physicians of Indian origin worldwide across 57 countries, benefits from Prof. Sibal's leadership.

 Additionally, he has been recognized internationally for his contributions, having been appointed as an Honorary Clinical Professor at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia in 2015, and serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia from 2009 to 2015. Prof. Sibal's commitment to medical education and governance is evident through his roles as a member of various esteemed institutions. 

He contributed as a Member of the Institute Body (IB) of the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh from 2009 to 2014, and currently serves as a Member of the Regional Middle East International Advisory Board of Joint Commission International (JCI) since 2011. A trailblazer in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology, Prof. Sibal established India's first pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology service in the private sector at Apollo Hospitals Delhi in 1997. Furthermore, he played a pivotal role in orchestrating India's first successful liver transplant at Apollo Hospitals Delhi in 1998, which remains the busiest pediatric liver transplant program in the country.
