When my father's creatinine raised beyond normal levels, we met Dr Balasubramanian through the reference of our family physician Dr Vishalakshi Raman (who saved our entire family from the wrath of Covid and was the harbinger of better times for us ). From the day we met him, it has been a pleasure knowing him. The pragmatism he brings in his treatment is excellent. My father who was diagnosed with AKI did subsequently move into CKD but Dr Balasubramanian kept me in the know of things throughout the process and he has been providing personal attention to my father since. While my father continues to recuperate in the hospital, my family and I are wholly convinced by the line of treatment being provided and we stand by his advice for the way forward. I write this as I sit with my father who is still not very conscious in the bed, but I have the satisfaction that he is being provided the best care by a very compassionate doctor and his team. They are next only to God🙏
