Dr. Deepika S

Dr. Deepika Sivathanu is a compassionate and dedicated Consultant Paediatrician based in Chennai with over a decade of medical experience.

She currently practices at Apollo Children’s Hospital, Chennai, where she provides comprehensive, evidence-based, and family-centred care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.

Her practice spans the management of routine childhood illnesses to complex paediatric conditions, with a strong emphasis on preventive healthcare and holistic well-being.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Deepika is actively involved in postgraduate teaching, clinical research, and the development of evidence-based clinical protocols. Her academic contributions include publications in reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals and book chapters in paediatric neurology.

After her MD Paediatrics, she has also completed advanced training in  Paediatric Allergy, Asthma, and Immunotherapy through the  Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) and is certified in  Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and  Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Passionate about supporting children through every stage of growth from a baby’s first check-up to adolescence. Dr. Deepika believes that exceptional paediatric care begins with informed and confident parents.
