Dr. Jino Joseph K

Dr. Jino Joseph K is a highly accomplished neonatologist with an impressive academic background and 11 years’ experience in field of neonatal care. He has dedicated his career to the care and management of newborns and infants, and he possesses a broad range of skills and knowledge in various areas of Neonatology. He did his MBBS from Government Medical College Trivandrum and went on to earn an MD in paediatrics from S N Medical College, Agra, where he graduated as the best outgoing student and received a gold medal. He further specialized in neonatology by completing a D.N.B. in Neonatology from the prestigious Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences in Trivandrum.

Dr. Jino Joseph is an expert in management of issues related to newborn care and management, including extreme premature baby care, infectious diseases, respiratory problems, nutrition, and development assessment and follow-ups. He has extensive experience in disease phenotype assessment and is well-versed in the latest advancements in neonatal care. He is skilled in handling complex cases and has a track record of successfully treating a wide range of neonatal conditions. In addition to his clinical practice, he has published several research papers and presented at numerous conferences on neonatology-related topics, he is a lifelong learner and stays up-to-date with the latest developments in his field.

- MOSC Medical College, Kolenchery ( 6 months ) ; This hospital is a 16 bedded Level III NICU situated in Kolenchery. His duties included being 2 nd on call and taking NICU rounds and teaching of undergraduate and sub - speciality residents.

- St. Thomas Hospital , Changanacherry ( 6 months ); worked as the lone consultant Neonatologist .

- Involved in setting up the Unit. Rajagiri Hospital ( JCI, NABH accredited ), Aluva ( March 2016 till date ); This is a 16 bedded level III NICU taking care of high risk babies including extreme premies above 22 wks. He worked as one of 2 consultant Neonatologists. Scope of services include care of extreme preterms, pediatric surgical cases, parenteral nutrition, neurodevelopmental follow ups . One of their unique achievements involved salvaging of 22 weeks twins born at 438 grams and 500 grams respectively who are the smallest surviving twins in India . They are also routinely looking after babies at borderline viability.
