Dr. Mercy C V

With more than 36 years of experience, Dr. Mercy C. V., senior consultant of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, is knowledgeable about almost every facet of patient care. After obtaining her undergraduate and post-graduate degrees from Kozhikode Government Medical College, she started working for Kerala's Health Services as an assistant surgeon in 1990 and eventually rose to the position of Additional Director of health services before retiring. With expertise in all matters relating to women's health, including adolescent health, high-risk pregnancies, fertility, and menopause, she has treated 250 000 patients.

Dr. Mercy C. V. considered it an honour to lead the Palakkad district's studies on sickle cell anaemia and maternal deaths in tribal areas while also collaborating with the DHS (Directorate of Health Services) team to assess maternal mortality and communicable diseases. She works with different Kerala Health Secretaries and Ministers to organise numerous health programmes.

She was recognized by Apollo Group as the Service Excellence Champion. She won multiple accolades from the Health Department for furthering her clinical education by going to conferences, seminars, and lectures.
