My husband had undergone partial nephrectomy and postoperatively developed high fever and later thrombocytopenia due to concurrent dengue.Our physician wanted to tranfuse platelets if the platelets count drops to a certain level.We didnt wanted platelets transfusion.When we spoke to Dr.Neema bhat mam she respected our wish and assured to treat without transfusion.Her concern and confidence gave us strength to face the challenging situation.Her treatment was effective and my husband is absolutely fine.We are thankful to Mam for helping pass that crucial phase.
