Experience in Haematology:

I worked as a Consultant Haematologist in Airedale NHS Trust and Bradford Teaching Hospital NHS Trust from 05/2006- 05/2009. I worked as Consultant Haematologist in Royal Derby Hospital from 05/2009- 05/2010.

While I was planning my relocation to India. My main area of work was in the diagnosis and management of Haematological Malignancies such as Lymphomas, Myelomas, Leukemias and Myeloproliferative Disorders. I was also in charge of management of patients with bleeding disorders such as Haemophilia and Thrombotic Disorders.

I was in charge of management of early onset of Haematological conditions such as Thalassemia and Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP). I Was overall incharge of the Haematology Laboratory.

Experience in Coagulation:

I have done dedicated Coagulation training in Haemophilia centres such as St James University Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary. I Have experience in outpatient and inpatient management of bleeding and thrombotic disorders.

Experience in Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation:

I have experience in Autologous and Allogeneic Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation.

I worked in transplant centres in Leeds, which is the tertiary referral centre for North of England. I gained experience in Paediatric Stem Cell Transplantation during my posting in Paediatric Haematology.

Experience in Transfusion Medicine:

I worked in National Blood Service, Leeds during my Registrar Training where I gained experience in various aspects of Transfusion Medicine including Apharesis Technique.

Experience in Paediatric Haematology:

I worked as a Registrar in Regional Paediatric Haematology Unit in St James University Hospital, Leeds. In this period, I gained experience in Paediatric General and Malignant Haematology including Allogeneic Transplantation. I also gained experience in management of Paediatric Haemophilia and Haemoglobinopathies.
