Dr. Simmy Chaudhary is a distinguished Ophthalmologist specializing in corneal disorders, anterior segment diseases, ocular surface rehabilitation cataract surgery and advanced refractive procedures. With over a decade of clinical and academic experience, she currently serves as a Consultant at the Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
An alumna of University College of Medical Sciences and Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, Dr. Chaudhary completed her postgraduate training in Ophthalmology followed by an advanced fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment at LVPEI. She further enriched her clinical acumen through a short-term Observership at Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. Her clinical expertise encompasses the management of complex ocular surface disorders, chemical injuries, Stevens–Johnson syndrome, dry eye disease, mucous membrane graft and varied varieties of corneal transplants. She is also proficient in performing high-precision cataract surgeries and advanced refractive procedures such as PRK, LASIK, SMILE, and phakic intraocular lens implantation (ICL).
