Dr. Varun Bansal

Dr Varun Bansal is a Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon who is affiliated with Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi. He is a graduate from prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and completed his DNB in Cardiothoracic Surgery from National Board of Examinations. Thereafter he worked with esteemed faculty in the country, before pursuing Fellowship in Advanced Cardiac Surgery heart Transplant and TAVI from University of Toronto. While working as a consultant in CTVS, he also completed Healthcare Management and Analytics from prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Kozikode. Applauded to be one of the youngest cardiac surgeons to successfully complete his training in Robotics and Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, he specialises in this field of key-hole heart surgery for various diseases like coronary artery disease (CABG), valvular heart disease (Mitral/ aortic valve repair/ replacement), surgery for hole in the heart (ASD, VSD), surgery for tumour in heart or chest (myxoma/ thymoma), surgery for heart arrhythmia etc. 

In addition to his vast knowledge and experience he brings with him a keen inclination towards overall compassionate patient care.
