Had gone to the Dr because of persistent knee pain for past 3 weeks He took his time to do mobility test and also pressed at various points around the knee to determine possible issues I shared with him my MRI report which suggested Horizontal Cleavage Tear of Lateral meniscus He showed me the MRI and explained in detail what the problem is and my options He was also very open and Frank with surgery success rates how long post operative recovery might take and in what stages the recovery might happen Dr was also very patient in answering my questions and gave me clarity I had gone to two other Orthopaedic surgeons before but they were not willing to explain or answer me in detail One said complete rest while other suggested immediate surgery Dr Udayamoorthy gave me options along with their pros and cons I have great respect for Dr Side Note He did all of the above despite the goof up the OPD booking staff did by giving me appointment and confirming it while in reality he was on medical leave He came to OPD to attend to my appointment as I had come from long distance I respect his dedication
