I'm dealing with acne on my face, and my doctor suggested using Deriva BPO. Is it alright if I use Deriva CMS instead? She also mentioned applying it and then washing it off. Won't that dry out my skin and possibly lead to more pigmentation issues?

I've been dealing with white, dry patches around my groin area, including on the scrotum and penis. Any ideas on what might be causing this or how I can treat it? I'm kind of worried about it.
