I've been diagnosed with PIVD at L4-L5 and have been taking pregabalin NT along with calcium and vitamin D supplements for the past 8 months. Since surgery wasn't needed, I'm wondering how much longer I'll need to stay on these medications. Are there any long-term side effects I should be aware of with pregabalin NT or the supplements?

Long-term pregabalin use can cause dizziness, drowsiness, and weight gain. Supplements are safe unless overdosed. Continue meds until MRI and symptoms show complete relief.

View allMy mom's been dealing with a migraine for over 8 hours now, and we're worried. She tried Fluner D twice but it hasn't helped at all. I'm wondering if giving her Crocin 650 or Disprin might be more effective. Which one do you think would work better? Any suggestion would be really appreciated.
If your mother has been experiencing a migraine for over 8 hours and Fluner D hasn't helped, it's better to try a painkiller like Crocin 650, as it's typically effective for headaches. Disprin (aspirin) may also work, but it could irritate the stomach. If her symptoms persist, it would be wise to consult a doctor for further evaluation.

I've been getting really bad headaches and got a CT PNS scan that showed bilateral issues. How serious are CSF leaks and what's the usual cost for surgery to fix this?

I had IPCL eye surgery two months ago and ever since then, I get a one-sided headache whenever I'm exposed to outside air. Taking something like Sinarest gives me relief for half a day, but then the headache comes back. I mentioned this to my doctor at Vasan Eye Care Hospital, but nothing helped. It's really affecting my work and making me frustrated what could be causing this?
eye opinion is advised.
