I've been using Betnovate N cream on and off for about 10 years, and now I've got these dark spots on my cheeks near my nose. I'm seeing a dermatologist who told me to use Azelaic acid cream 20 at night for just 30 minutes and Dermadew Glow cream during the day. It's almost been a month and I don't really see any improvement. I'm really stressed about these spots. What do you think about this treatment?

Sometimes they're so dry that they hurt, and they're always sticky, which makes speaking really frustrating. I've even attached some photos. Any idea what's going on or what I can do about it?
