I've noticed something strange whenever I drink or swallow anythingit feels like there's something stuck to my tongue. It's a really odd sensation, and I can't figure out what's causing it. Should I be worried about this, or is it something that will go away on its own?

I'm curious about something. I managed to quit smoking using nicotine gums and did pretty well with it, but now I'm dealing with a sore throat, some irritation, and phlegm issues. I was using the 4mg gum, usually around 2 or 3 pieces a day, and now I just occasionally need a piece. I had surgery yesterday and I've noticed that my uvula has gotten really elongated, almost laying on my tongue. Is this something I should be worried about? Is it normal after surgery or should I get it checked out?
