Hello Doctor. I have done a full body checkup including blood test, urine test, LFT, and vitamin D. I found my vitamin D level very low at 4.5 ng/ml. Should I go for further tests, or can you suggest some supplements? I have attached my report. One reason for low vitamin D is lack of sunlight exposure, which I will take care of now. Please suggest.

Very low Vitamin D can cause fatigue, bone pain. No need for further testing now. Start high dose Vitamin D3 supplements weekly and review after 2 months.

My blood test report of 8 April shows 25 OH Vitamin D 17.3 ng/ml and serum calcium 10.3 mg/dl. It is usually said that vitamin D deficiency causes low calcium, but my calcium is almost high. Could there be another problem? I recently passed a kidney stone. Is it related? Is having sun exposure for 15 minutes every morning enough for vitamin D?
